Wimbledon bracket challenge

Wimbledon is already a bracket. Run your own challenge on it.

One hundred and twenty-eight players, 127 matches, seven rounds and one champion. Your players fill in the draw before the first ball on Monday 28 June 2027 and watch it survive the first week. Our team builds it and records every result, under your branding.

The draw your bracket is built on.

Wimbledon 2027
Monday 28 June to Sunday 11 July, on grass at the All England Club. The days line up with Irish time, so the evening matches land after work.
Two singles draws
Gentlemen's and Ladies' singles, 128 players each. Each is its own bracket.
Size of a draw
128 players, 127 matches and seven rounds, from the first round to the final.
Seeds
32 in each draw, placed so that no two seeds can meet before the third round.
Qualifiers
16 places in each draw go to players who come through qualifying the week before. Until they finish, those slots on the published draw read Qualifier.
Match length
Best of five sets for the men and best of three for the women.
A perfect bracket
Scores 257 on a 128-player draw: 247 for the 127 picks plus 10 for the champion.

How a Wimbledon bracket challenge runs.

  1. Ask for the bracket once every slot has a name.

A bracket is built from a complete draw, so wait until qualifying has finished and the sixteen Qualifier places are filled. Then our team builds the full tree, seeds and all 127 matches, from the published draw. You type in no fixtures.

  2. Everyone fills it in before the first ball.

Each person picks a winner for every match, from the first round to the final. Set the lock before play starts on Monday 28 June. Nobody sees anyone else's picks until then, and a reminder goes out before lock.

  3. We record the result and it scores.

Our team records who advances as each match finishes, and every bracket is rescored. A retirement or a walkover still puts one player in the next round, and that is the result we record.

  4. The leaderboard does the talking.

Each person's best bracket ranks on the leaderboard, and bracket pools let an office floor or a club committee run a league inside the challenge.

The decisions a 128-player bracket forces.

A 128 draw has 64 first-round matches and one final. Every scoring argument comes out of that ratio.

Flat scoring would make round one the whole contest.

One point a pick would put 64 of 127 picks in the first round. Fanzava scores one point times the round number instead, so a correct pick is worth 1 in round one and 7 in the final, with 10 more for the right champion. It is the same for every bracket and is not set per competition.

Seeds hold serve, so the second round is where brackets split.

Seeds are kept apart so the early rounds are mostly favourites winning and most brackets look alike. What separates people is the seed who goes out in round two. Fanzava pays no upset bonus: points follow the round, not the seed.

Two draws, two competitions.

Run the Gentlemen's and Ladies' singles as two brackets with separate leaderboards, or pick one. The women's draw is best of three throughout, and a shorter match leaves more room for an upset than the men's best of five.

Several brackets each, or one.

One per person is the default. You can allow up to five, and a person's best bracket is the one that counts. Ask for the limit when you arrange the bracket, so everyone starts with the same number.

Settle retirements and walkovers in the rules.

Someone retires at two sets down, or a player withdraws before the match. The player who goes through is the winner of that box and every pick on them scores. Put that in your rules before the first Monday, not in a group chat afterwards.

Why run Wimbledon on Fanzava.

A fortnight is a complete product.

The bracket opens, runs and closes inside two weeks. It suits a club, a sponsor activation or a single office better than a season does, and it lands in July, while the Premier League is on its summer break.

Our team builds the draw and records the results.

The bracket engine is live and running. We build the draw from the published sheet and record each result, so your leaderboard stays right without a spreadsheet.

Your logo, your colours, your domain.

Paid plans and a Bracket Pass ship full white label. Pro and above add a custom domain and a custom email sender, so round recaps arrive from you.

Questions Wimbledon bracket organisers ask.

Is this the official Wimbledon draw?
No. The official draw, order of play and results are on wimbledon.com, which we link to at the top of this page. Fanzava runs a challenge your own people enter, on the same 128-player draw.
When does the bracket open?
When the draw is complete. Sixteen places in each draw are filled by qualifiers, and qualifying ends the week before play starts on 28 June 2027. Ask for the bracket once every slot has a name, and lock it before the first ball.
Who enters the results?
Our team builds the bracket from the published draw and records each result as the match finishes. You do not enter a score.
Can we run the men's and women's draws?
Yes, as two separate brackets with their own leaderboards. They are separate competitions, so check that your plan allows two at once.
How is a retirement or walkover scored?
As a normal result. The player who advances is the winner of that box, and every pick that named them scores.
Can I print a Wimbledon bracket?
The free bracket maker prints a clean blank bracket for any field from 2 to 128 names. Use it for the office wall, then run the live version for the scoring.
What does it cost?
Brackets are not on the Free plan. Run one on Starter or above, or buy a one-off Bracket Pass for the event. The prices are in the Bracket Pass panel on this page.
Does money change hands?
No. Entry is free and Fanzava never handles entry money. It is a free social game where people make predictions and a leaderboard ranks them.
