Acceptable use policy
Last updated: 2026-10-26
This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) governs how you may use the Fanzava platform, operated by RYSI Labs Pty Ltd, trading as Fanzava. It applies to everyone who accesses the platform, including participants, Hub Admins, and visitors, and it forms part of the Fanzava Platform Terms of Use. Breaching this Policy may lead to content removal, suspension, or termination under section 5.
1. Prohibited content
You must not use the platform to post, share, or distribute content that:
- constitutes hate speech, harassment, bullying, or intimidation;
- contains direct or implied threats of violence;
- is sexually explicit or pornographic;
- seeks to groom, exploit, or make inappropriate contact with anyone under 18;
- discloses another person’s private information without consent (doxxing);
- impersonates another person or organisation;
- promotes self-harm or suicide;
- infringes intellectual property or other rights;
- promotes illegal activity, including the sale of regulated goods;
- constitutes spam, scams, or unsolicited advertising; or
- is otherwise unlawful in any jurisdiction where it is published or accessed.
2. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, other accounts, or any system or data;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform, or breach or circumvent its security or authentication;
- interfere with or disrupt the platform, its infrastructure, or other users, including through denial-of-service activity;
- introduce malware or any harmful code;
- scrape, harvest, or collect data from the platform except through features provided for that purpose;
- evade rate limits, plan limits, participant caps, or platform-integrity controls, including by creating multiple accounts to do so;
- provide a false age, or create an account if you are below the Platform’s or a Hub’s minimum age;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the platform to third parties except as expressly permitted; or
- use the platform to send unsolicited marketing or to harvest contact details for downstream marketing in breach of applicable law or your plan terms.
3. Competition integrity
You must not manipulate or attempt to manipulate competitions, scoring, or leaderboards, including by collusion, multiple entries where prohibited, or exploiting errors in results or fixtures. Chance-based winner mechanics, including random draws and random tie-breaks, are not permitted unless Fanzava has agreed in writing to enable them for a Hub, and are never available on Free Hubs. Where they are enabled, the Hub Admin is responsible for obtaining any trade promotion permits required. Fanzava’s Global Administrators hold the exclusive right to correct results where source data is erroneous. You must not use the Platform to place, accept or facilitate bets or wagers. Where a Hub Admin charges entry fees or runs a prize pool, the Hub Admin is solely responsible for ensuring it is lawful where it is offered.
4. Hub Admin responsibilities
If you operate a Hub, you are responsible for the lawful design and operation of your competition, for the content you and your participants publish, and for moderating your Hub day to day. Fanzava also moderates every Hub, through the automated controls described in section 5 and by intervening in serious cases, and on Free Hubs moderates more actively alongside you because those Hubs are hosted on Fanzava-branded property.
5. Enforcement
Fanzava and Hub Admins may moderate, flag, suppress, and remove content. Banter Board enforcement operates on a warning system: after three warnings, an automatic 90-day suspension applies. Warnings are counted on an all-time basis and do not expire. For severe abuse, repeat cross-Hub offences, or illegal content, Fanzava’s Global Administrators may remove a participant from a Hub or impose a platform-wide ban. Fanzava may act without prior notice where necessary to protect users, the platform, or to comply with law. Some enforcement actions are applied automatically, including rejecting posts that breach content filters, hiding posts flagged by multiple users, and suspensions after repeated warnings. You can appeal a suspension or ban, including an automatic one, by following the instructions in the notice you receive. Appeals are reviewed by a person, and the outcome may be upheld, reduced or reversed. Other moderation decisions, such as removing or hiding individual posts, are final.
6. Reporting
If you encounter content or conduct that breaches this Policy, report it within the platform or by emailing trust@fanzava.com.
7. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes are notified in line with the Platform Terms of Use.
