Fantasy leagues, coming soon

Your own fantasy league. On the hub your audience already knows.

Coming to your hub: participants will draft a squad of real players, name a captain, then trade and pick up free agents all season, on the same branded hub as your tipping and brackets. It is not open yet. Join the waitlist and be first in.

How it will play

What fantasy will look like on Fanzava.

A draft day, a squad worth owning, and moves to make once the draft is done. Your hub will run all three.

Draft day.

Participants will pick their squads live in a draft room, one pick at a time, with a chat running beside the board. Every pick will land on every screen the moment it is made, so the whole league watches the draft happen together.

Your squad, your captain.

Every participant will own a squad of real players drafted from the league's club squad lists, and name a captain from it. The squad will sit on its own page in the competition, and it is theirs to manage all season.

Make your moves.

A bad draft will not be the end of anyone's year. Participants will propose trades to each other, accept or counter the offers they get, and pick up players nobody drafted.

The platform advantage

Fantasy that fits where your audience already is.

Most fantasy products ask your audience to go somewhere new. A separate app, a separate login, someone else's branding.

Fantasy on Fanzava will run on your hub. Same branded experience, same login, same participants: extended into a new format. One hub, one dashboard, one audience doing more.

Step by step

How a fantasy league will run.

A fantasy competition on Fanzava will be a season-long draft league. This is how one will run, from the wizard to the first pick. None of it is open to participants yet.

Set it up.

A hub admin will create a fantasy competition in the same competition wizard used for tipping and brackets, and pick the league it runs on.

Participants join.

Each participant will join the competition and create their team, with the same login they use for everything else on your hub.

The draft starts.

Once at least two teams are in, a hub admin will start the draft and the room will open for every participant at once.

The draft length.

The draft will run one round for every place in the squad, so the squad size set for the league decides how long draft day goes.

The player pool.

Players will come from the club squad lists in the sports data feed, not a list anyone on your hub types in. Participants will filter the pool by position.

League rules everyone can read.

The league's settings will sit on a rules page inside the competition, where every participant can read them and nobody but a hub admin can change them.

Tipping, brackets and fantasy, side by side.

Three ways to compete, one hub. Tipping and brackets are open now. Fantasy will run alongside them, with the same branding and the same participants.

Tipping

Pick the result of each match, round by round, and score on what actually happens.

Brackets

Pick every matchup of a knockout event before it starts, then watch your picks survive or fall.

Fantasy

Coming: draft a squad of real players and manage it all season, with a captain, trades and free agents.

Fantasy leagues, sport by sport.

Each league has its own page on how the draft runs for that sport.

AFL draft league

Draft real AFL players in a live snake draft room with your own members, under your own brand.

NRL draft league

The same private draft league for the NRL, on your hub and in your brand.

All fantasy leagues

Draft league or salary cap game, and what to look for in a fantasy platform for a workplace or club.

Questions about fantasy.

Which plans include fantasy?

Fantasy is not open yet. When it opens, it will be included on Starter, Growth, Pro, Scale and Enterprise. It will not be part of Free. How many fantasy competitions a hub can hold depends on the plan, and the full feature matrix is on the pricing page.

Is this a public fantasy game?

No. It will run inside your hub, under your brand, and all participant data will stay in your hub. A hub admin will set it up and invite participants; it is not a public platform anyone can wander into.

Is fantasy open now?

Not yet. Participants cannot join or play a fantasy competition today. Join the waitlist and we will get in touch when it opens on your hub.

Can we run fantasy alongside our tipping competition?

That is the plan. It will run in the same hub as your tipping and bracket competitions, under the same branding, with the same participants and the same login. Tipping and brackets are open now.

How does the draft order work?

It will be a snake draft. The pick order reverses each round, so whoever picks last in one round picks first in the next, and nobody is stuck at the back of every round.

Will there be a chat during the draft?

Yes. The draft room will have a chat beside the board, and every message will reach everyone in the room as it is sent, alongside every pick.

Where do the players come from?

From the club squad lists in the sports data feed. The player pool will be league data, like fixtures, so nobody on your hub has to build it by hand.

What does joining the waitlist commit us to?

Nothing. We get in touch when fantasy opens on your hub, and no commitment comes with it.
