Formula 1 fantasy league

Your own Formula 1 fantasy league, with your members and your brand.

A private fantasy F1 league where every member will field a garage of real drivers and score on how those drivers race. It will run on your Fanzava hub, next to your F1 tipping. Fantasy is not open yet: join the waitlist and be first in.

No commitment. We get in touch when fantasy opens on your hub.

A Formula 1 fantasy league, at a glance.

Format
A garage of real Formula 1 drivers for every member, scored on how those drivers race. It will be a private league on your hub, not a public game.
Where results come from
The sports data feed. Nobody on your hub will type a result in.
Scoring
Fanzava's own table, published when fantasy opens. It will not be the points Formula 1 awards in the drivers' championship.
Where it runs
On your branded hub, beside your tipping and bracket competitions, with the same members and the same login.
Status
On the waitlist. A Formula 1 and Supercars garage is planned for the first fantasy release, alongside NFL, NHL and MLB draft leagues. There is no opening date to quote.

From the waitlist to the chequered flag.

  1. Join the waitlist.

Fantasy is not open yet, so there is nothing to set up today. Join the waitlist and we will be in touch when Formula 1 fantasy can run on your hub.

  2. Members join and name a team.

Each member will join the competition and create their team, with the login they already use on your hub.

  3. Everyone fills a garage.

Each member will build a garage from the real drivers on the grid.

  4. Results come from the feed.

When a race is classified, the result will arrive from the sports data feed and every garage will score from it. Nobody on your hub keeps a spreadsheet.

  5. Then compare garages, round by round.

Members will see how each driver scored, so the argument on Monday has the numbers behind it.

Rules worth settling before round 1.

The scoring table will be published when fantasy opens, but the arguments that matter happen between members. Agree these first.

Decide who can join, and until when.

A member who joins after the first race starts behind everyone else. Decide in advance whether your league closes before the season opens or stays open, and tell people the date.

Work from the published calendar.

The Formula 1 calendar firms up late in the preceding year, so set your league's start from the published race calendar rather than dates remembered from last season.

Is anyone playing for something?

Anything your league plays for is between you and your members. A fantasy league here is a social game.

Why host it on Fanzava, and when Formula 1's own game is the better choice.

Formula 1's own fantasy game is the official one.

It is the sport's own game, and it is where you play against the whole world. If all you want is a table among mates on the official game, use it and enjoy it.

Fanzava is for hosting.

A Fanzava league will run on your hub, under your logo, colours and domain, with your members on the login they already use. It is for the workplace, club, pub or community that wants fantasy F1 inside the audience it already has.

It sits next to your F1 tipping.

Your members can already tip the races on the hub, picking the winner, pole and the podium. A fantasy league will run beside it under the same brand, so one hub carries the race-by-race tipping and the season-long garage together.

Questions about a Formula 1 fantasy league.

What is a Formula 1 fantasy league?
A league where each member fields a garage of real Formula 1 drivers and scores on how those drivers race. On Fanzava it will be run by a hub admin for a workplace, club or group of friends, with every garage scored from the real race results.
How does fantasy F1 scoring work on Fanzava?
Every garage will score on how its drivers race, from results in the sports data feed. The full table will be published when fantasy opens, and nothing is scored today.
Are these the same points as the drivers' championship?
No. Fanzava will use its own fantasy table, published when fantasy opens. It will not be the points Formula 1 awards in the drivers' championship.
Can I run an F1 fantasy league for my workplace or club?
That is what it is for. Once Formula 1 fantasy opens, it will run on your hub under your brand, with your members signing in the way they do for everything else on the hub.
How is a Fanzava league different from the official Formula 1 fantasy game?
The official game is Formula 1's own, and it is where you play against everyone. A Fanzava league is one you host: your brand, your members and your league rules, on the hub where you may already run F1 tipping.
Can my members tip the races as well?
Yes, and that runs today. F1 tipping is a separate competition on the same hub, where members pick the winner, pole and the podium for each race.
Does it cover Supercars or MotoGP?
Supercars is planned beside Formula 1 in the first fantasy release, though it has no page or date yet. MotoGP is not part of that release.
Is the league open yet?
No. Nothing in fantasy is open yet, and members cannot join or play a fantasy competition today. Join the waitlist and we will get in touch about fantasy on your hub.
When does Formula 1 fantasy open on Fanzava?
There is no date to give yet. Join the waitlist and we will get in touch about fantasy on your hub.
