Players from nine sports, including football, basketball, soccer, rugby, cricket, Australian rules and motorsport, spread across one floodlit field at dusk.

Sports and formats

Every sport your players follow, on one hub.

Season-long pick'em pools, bracket pools and prediction pools across the sports below. If the one you run isn't here yet, tell us. We add sports based on what commissioners ask for.

How Fanzava handles sports in the US.

Pick'em on Fanzava runs on sports data. For every sport on this page, the schedule and start times come from a data feed, each game locks at its own scheduled start, and results score the standings as they are confirmed. You set the scoring rules once; nobody types in a schedule.

The index is grouped by where each competition is played, because that decides when it lands on an American clock. The NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB play on your own evenings and weekends, the Premier League kicks off on Saturday morning, and Formula 1 and the tennis majors land wherever the calendar takes them. Every sport page covers the same three things first: how the season runs, what that does to your scoring, and the rules worth settling before Week 1.

Formats sit across all of it. A bracket or a confidence pool works on any sport with the right shape, so formats have pages of their own after the sports. Sports the feed carries without a page of their own are listed at the bottom, and they run the same way. The explainers and the free tools are on Resources.

  • Automatic schedules and results. The schedule, start times and results come from the data feed. There is no schedule to type and no result to mark.
  • Locks that follow the game. Each game locks at its own scheduled start, with a two-minute grace period, so a week spread from Thursday to Monday stays open for its later games.
  • Scoring that fits the sport. Draw picks where a sport can finish tied, margin prediction where results carry a margin, and jokers and a perfect-week bonus on top.
  • Motorsport, predicted rather than picked. Formula 1 has no home team, so players call the race winner, the podium, pole position and the fastest lap, each scored on its own.
  • Your players' time zone. Kickoff times and lock countdowns show in local time, and reminders go out before the first lock of each week, so a pool that spans New York and Los Angeles runs on one set of locks.

Running more than one sport? A paid hub runs pools side by side on one player list, so a fall NFL pool can hand over to March Madness and then to baseball without anyone signing up twice. Players enter the pools they care about and skip the rest.

Schedules, start times, lock countdowns and results arrive automatically for every pick'em pool on this page. Nothing to type in, nothing to chase on a Sunday night.

United States

American pools in the shapes your players already know, from a weekly pick'em across a full season to a bracket pool in March and a race-by-race NASCAR pool. A pick'em asks for a winner in every game of the week; a bracket pool asks for every pick of a tournament before it starts.

United Kingdom

The Premier League, followed on Saturday mornings. A season-long pick'em pool across 38 matchweeks, with kickoff times and locks shown on your players' clock rather than London's.

Every UK competition →

Global

Competitions followed everywhere at once: European club soccer and the World Cup, Formula 1 and the other motorsport series, golf and tennis, where a field or a draw stands in for a schedule. They run on the same hub as your NFL pool, so a World Cup bracket can sit beside your season-long pick'em.

Pool formats

Formats are ways to compete rather than sports. Each one works on any sport with the right shape, and each page covers its rules and the arguments that come with them. A bracket asks for every pick of a knockout tournament before it starts; a confidence pool asks players how sure they are of each pick and scores them on it.

Every other sport on the feed.

Same automatic schedules, lock countdowns and results. All of it runs today, grouped the way the feed carries it. A sport without a guide page runs exactly like one with a page: the same locks, the same scoring options and the same standings. If you run one, the closest sport page above is a good guide to the settings that matter.

Running something that is not here?

Questions commissioners ask.

Do schedules and results come in automatically?

For pick'em on every sport on this page, yes. The schedule, start times and results arrive from the data feed, each game locks at its own start, and a game the feed marks canceled or postponed is voided rather than scored. Bracket results are recorded as each game is decided, and every bracket rescores automatically.

What does "also on the feed" mean?

Those sports are carried by the data feed but do not have a written guide page yet. They run the same way as the sports that do: automatic schedules, lock countdowns and results.

Why is the index grouped by where each sport is played?

Because that decides when it lands on an American clock and what your players call it. A sport page covers its league calendar, its terms and the scoring questions commissioners ask. Every page runs on the same hub, with the same pricing.

Can one hub run more than one sport?

Yes, on a paid plan. Multiple sports year round start on Starter. The Free plan runs one pool at a time, and a Season Pass covers one sport's season.

Are prices in US dollars?

Yes. A US hub is billed in US dollars, and the pricing page shows every plan in US dollars.

What is the difference between a sport page and a format page?

A sport page covers one league: its season, its quirks and how to score it. A format page covers a way of competing, such as a bracket or a confidence pool, that works across sports.

Can players change a pick after they make it?

Yes, as often as they like until that game locks. After the lock the pick is fixed, and a pick sent after the two-minute grace period is refused.

What happens to someone who forgets to pick?

Your late-pick policy decides. The options are nothing for that game, an automatic pick on the home or away team, or a pick locked in at zero points, and you choose one when you create the pool.

Can we run a pool for one tournament rather than a season?

Yes. A bracket covers a single knockout tournament from the first round to the final, and a Bracket Pass pays for one tournament with no subscription behind it.

Do players need an app?

No. Players join and make their picks from their phone browser, with no app to install. Share a link or a QR code and they are in.

My sport is not here. What now?

Tell us with the form on this page. We add sports based on what commissioners ask for, and anything already on the feed can run today, with or without a guide page of its own.
