Brackets

Fill it out once. Then spend the next three weeks watching it survive.

Bracket pools for March Madness, the World Cup, Grand Slam tennis, and every knockout tournament your audience cares about. Every round changes the standings. Every upset reshuffles the leaderboard.

How it works

From the first pick to the final buzzer.

Bracket pools run in three phases. Each one is distinct. The last one runs itself.

  1. Fill it out.

Before the tournament tips off, every player predicts the winner of every game from the first round through to the championship. Reminders go out 24 hours and one hour before lock. Incomplete brackets receive zero points for unpicked games.

  2. Lock it in.

At the set lock time, usually the start of the first game, all brackets freeze at once. No exceptions, no late entries. Once locked, every bracket becomes visible to the whole pool. Pick distribution percentages show how the field split on every matchup.

  3. Watch it unfold.

Once the bracket locks, results are recorded as games are decided: by Fanzava's results feed where it carries the game, and by our team where it does not. Every bracket is rescored with each one, so picks score and leaderboards update without you entering a thing. Whoever called the upsets moves up. Whoever played it safe watches their bracket bust. By the Final Four, the pool has its own story.

Tournaments & scale

Every tournament worth predicting.

March Madness, the FIFA World Cup, Grand Slam tennis, the UEFA Champions League, and more: any single-elimination draw of up to 128 teams. Our team builds the bracket from the tournament's own draw, seeds included, and records every result the feed does not carry. The scoring engine takes it from there.

  • UEFA Champions League
  • + more

Custom tournaments are supported too. Talk to our team, hand over your teams and your lock time, and we build your bracket and enter its results. The same scoring engine runs underneath.

Scoring and setup

Scoring that runs itself.

The defaults work out of the box. Two things vary, and our team sets them when the bracket is built: the lock time, and how many brackets each player may enter.

Round-weighted scoring.

Later rounds are worth more. A correct pick scores one point times the round number: one in the first round, two in the second, and so on, and a correct champion adds ten. Every bracket scores the same way, so there is nothing to configure.

Multiple brackets.

By default each player submits one bracket. Allow up to five per player if you want to encourage experimentation: different strategies, different risk profiles, different names. Each player's best-scoring bracket counts toward the leaderboard.

Pick visibility.

Nobody sees how the field has picked until the bracket locks, so there is nothing to copy. After lock, pick distribution shows how the field split on every matchup.

Built on the full Fanzava platform.

Every bracket pool you run inherits the complete platform layer: white-label branding, live leaderboards, groups and inter-group rivalries, Banter Board, prize administration, and CRM integrations.

Enterprise-grade security, SSO, and data residency covered on the security page.
