Players from nine codes — Australian rules, basketball, gridiron, rugby, football, cricket and motorsport — spread across one floodlit ground at dusk.

Sports and formats

Every code your audience follows, on one hub.

Season-long tipping, knockout brackets and prediction competitions across the codes below. If the one you run isn't here yet, tell us. We add sports based on what operators ask for.

How Fanzava handles sports and markets.

Tipping on Fanzava runs on sports data. For every code on this page, fixtures and start times come from a data feed, each match locks at its own scheduled start, and results score the leaderboard as they are confirmed. You set the scoring rules once; nobody types in a fixture list.

The index is grouped by market because the same sport is followed differently depending on where your audience watches it. An Australian office runs a footy tipping comp, an American one runs a pick'em or a bracket pool, and a British one runs last man standing. Each market page is written for its own calendar, its own terms and the questions organisers there ask. Every sport page covers the same three things first: how the season runs, what that does to your scoring, and the rules worth settling before round one.

Formats sit across all of it. A bracket or confidence tipping works on any sport with the right shape, so formats have pages of their own after the markets. Codes the feed carries without a page of their own are listed at the bottom, and they run the same way. The wider set of guides and the free tools are on Resources.

  • Automatic fixtures and results. Fixtures, start times and results come from the data feed. There is no fixture list to type and no result to mark.
  • Locks that follow the fixture. Each match locks at its own scheduled start, with a two-minute grace period, so a round spread across a weekend stays open for its later games.
  • Scoring that fits the sport. Draw picks where a sport can finish level, margin prediction where results carry a margin, and jokers and a perfect round bonus on top.
  • Motorsport, predicted rather than picked. Formula 1 has no home team, so tippers call the race winner, the podium, pole position and the fastest lap, each scored on its own.
  • Your audience's time zone. Kick-off times and lock countdowns show in local time, and reminders go out before the first lock of each round, so a competition played overnight still gets tipped.

Running more than one code? A paid hub runs competitions side by side on one participant list, so a winter footy comp can hand over to summer cricket without anyone signing up twice. Tippers enter the competitions they care about and skip the rest.

Fixtures, start times, lock countdowns and results arrive automatically for every tipping competition on this page. Nothing to type in, nothing to chase on a Sunday night.

Australia

Written for the Australian calendar: rounds that run Thursday to Sunday, bye rounds, finals series and a summer of cricket, with kick-off times shown in your audience's time zone. Each of these codes finishes with a finals series, which you can keep tipping or run as a bracket.

United States

American pools have their own shapes, from a weekly pick'em across a full season to a bracket pool in March. These pages use American terms and the American calendar, and run on the same hub as everything else. A pick'em asks for a winner in every game of the week; a bracket pool asks for every pick of a tournament before it starts.

United Kingdom

Written for the way offices and clubs in the UK already play along with football and rugby, from a season-long Premier League comp to a one-pick-a-week last man standing. Kick-off times and locks show in your audience's own time zone, wherever the match is played.

Every UK competition →

Ireland

Gaelic games scored the way they are actually scored, in goals and points, for Irish clubs, workplaces and supporters, across the football and hurling championships.

Every Irish competition →

Global

Competitions followed everywhere at once: European club football and the international tournaments, motorsport, and the individual sports where a draw or a field of players stands in for a fixture list. They run on the same hub as a local competition, so a World Cup bracket can sit beside your season-long tipping.

Competition formats

Formats are ways to compete rather than sports. Each one works on any code with the right shape, and each page covers its rules and the arguments that come with them. A bracket asks for every pick of a knockout event before it starts; confidence tipping asks tippers how sure they are of each pick and scores them on it.

Every other code on the feed.

Same automatic fixtures, lock countdowns and results. All of it runs today, grouped the way the feed carries it. A code without a guide page runs exactly like one with a page: the same locks, the same scoring options and the same leaderboards. If you run one, the closest sport page above is a good guide to the settings that matter.

Running something that is not here?

Questions organisers ask.

Do fixtures and results come in automatically?

For tipping on every code on this page, yes. Fixtures, start times and results arrive from the data feed, each match locks at its own start, and a match the feed marks cancelled or postponed is voided rather than scored. Bracket results are recorded as each match is decided, and every bracket rescores automatically.

What does "also on the feed" mean?

Those codes are carried by the data feed but do not have a written guide page yet. They run the same way as the codes that do: automatic fixtures, lock countdowns and results.

Why is the index grouped by country?

Because the same sport is followed differently depending on where your audience watches it. A market page covers its competition's calendar, its local terms and the scoring questions organisers there ask. Every page runs on the same hub, with the same pricing.

Can one hub run more than one sport?

Yes, on a paid plan. Multiple sports year round start on Starter. The Free plan runs one competition at a time, and a Season Pass covers one sport's season.

Are prices different outside Australia?

No. Fanzava bills in Australian dollars and every price includes GST. There is no separate US dollar, pound or euro price list, so the price is the same wherever your audience is.

What is the difference between a sport page and a format page?

A sport page covers one code: its season, its quirks and how to score it. A format page covers a way of competing, such as a bracket or confidence tipping, that works across codes.

Can tippers change a pick after they make it?

Yes, as often as they like until that match locks. After the lock the pick is fixed, and a tip sent after the two-minute grace period is refused.

What happens to someone who forgets to tip?

Your late-tip policy decides. The options are nothing for that match, an automatic pick on the home or away team, or a pick locked in at zero points, and you choose one when you create the competition.

Can we run a competition for one tournament rather than a season?

Yes. A bracket covers a single knockout event from the first round to the final, and a Bracket Pass pays for one event with no subscription behind it.

Do tippers need an app?

No. Tippers join and tip from their phone browser, with no app to install. Share a link or a QR code and they are in.

My sport is not here. What now?

Tell us with the form on this page. We add sports based on what operators ask for, and anything already on the feed can run today, with or without a guide page of its own.
