On The Game you buy the sponsorship. On Fanzava you sell it.

The Game is a media-owned tipping platform with a media owner's audience behind it. Fanzava is the platform you use when the competition, the branding and the entrant list need to be yours.

The Game is described by Seven West Media as "Seven West Media's owned and operated tipping platform". It is free and easy to play, listed on the App Store by West Australian Newspapers Limited, and covers AFL, NRL and cricket including the BBL season. Players can create competitions to play against friends, family and colleagues. For brands, Seven West sells two things against it: prize partnerships that put a brand across the marketing collateral associated with The Game, and sponsorships created on a share-of-voice basis with presence across The Game as well as the AFL or cricket sections of PerthNow and thewest.com.au. That is a media buy, and if your goal is reach against Seven's audience it is a legitimate one. Fanzava is not a media property and sells no audience. It is a white-label platform for an organisation that wants to run its own competition under its own brand, on its own domain, and keep the people who enter.

Where The Game wins.

It comes with an audience attached.

The Game sits inside Seven West Media, and its sponsorship packages extend across the AFL and cricket sections of PerthNow and thewest.com.au. If you need reach you do not currently have, Fanzava cannot sell you that. Fanzava gives you a platform, not a readership.

It is free to play, with no setup on you.

Seven describes it as free and easy to play. Players sign up, create a comp against their mates and go. There is no plan to choose, no domain to point and no branding to configure.

One invoice instead of a build.

A brand can buy a prize partnership or a share-of-voice sponsorship and be visible across a running platform without operating anything. Running your own comp on Fanzava means you own the promotion of it too.

Media-grade editorial around the tipping.

The Game is backed by Seven's AFL and cricket coverage on its news mastheads. Fanzava runs the competition and leaves the content to you.

Where Fanzava wins.

The comp is yours, not a placement inside someone else's.

Your logo, your colours, your domain, your email sender, on every paid plan. A sponsorship ends when the campaign ends. A branded hub is still yours next season.

You keep every entrant.

Participant data belongs to the hub owner and exports to your CRM. Sponsoring a media platform gets you impressions against its audience. Running your own comp builds a list you can market to directly.

You control the sponsor inventory and the revenue.

Sponsor placements sit in the leaderboard, round reminders, results emails and the weekly digest. On Fanzava that inventory is yours to sell to your own partners rather than something you buy.

Broader codes, and brackets as well as tipping.

The Game covers AFL, NRL and cricket. Fanzava runs season tipping and knockout brackets across trans-Tasman and international codes, Super Rugby included, on a single login and a single member list.

Published pricing and enterprise controls.

Plans are listed on the pricing page in Australian dollars, and SSO, data residency in Australia and audit logs are available for enterprise buyers. Media sponsorship is quoted, not listed.

Going from sponsoring a comp to running one.

There is no entrant export to move, because on a media platform the players belong to the publisher. Treat this as starting your own list. Brand your hub, then invite your audience with a branded link or QR code through the channels you already own, and import any member or customer list you hold yourself so invitations send from your own address. We will help you write the migration emails. Many brands will keep buying media reach where they need it and run a branded hub of their own to convert that reach into a list. The season break is the natural moment to stand yours up.

Questions buyers ask.

Can I run a white-label comp on The Game?
Not as a published feature. Seven West Media sells prize partnerships and share-of-voice sponsorships against The Game rather than a branded platform you operate.
Which codes does The Game cover?
AFL, NRL and cricket, including the BBL season. If you need EPL, NFL, netball, rugby union or a knockout bracket, that is outside what The Game publishes.
What does The Game cost a brand?
It is not published. Sponsorship and prize partnerships are sold by quote through Seven West Media. Fanzava's plans are published in full on the pricing page.
Is sponsoring a media comp worse than running my own?
No, it is a different purchase. Sponsorship buys reach against an audience you do not have. A branded hub builds an audience you keep. Brands with a budget for both usually want both.
Does Fanzava do fantasy?
Yes, as a draft league on paid plans. Participants draft a squad of real players in a live snake draft, name a captain, then trade with each other and pick up free agents through the season, on the same hub as your tipping and brackets. The fantasy page takes a waitlist for early access rather than a self-serve signup.
